As a 40 year guzzler of delicious Bayerischen Motoren Werke Kool-Aid I'd heard many stories of legendary R7, but had never seen a photo before. And I go to BMW AG Museum every single time that I'm in Munchen. One of our members in AZ Beemers, Geoff Oprandy-ROUNDEL, owns 1936 R5. Looks like R7 has "Kompressor" cylinder heads from land speed record holder.
