I am deeply saddened that one of the members I respect the most would be reminded of Skooter's bony *** and big ears when he read the words, "bony eared assfish". How much time have you spent with Skooter?

--This fish, more accurately known as Acanthonus armatus, is more commonly known by those who care... by a completely different name. Hmmm, reminds me of the name, "HOG."

--The there's the appearance: a Harley is also known as a "SKOOTER." This isn't the first time we've heard this name around here. Just look at those ears !!!! (insider joke... you new guys just overlook that one)

--to quote a website describing this fish, "...no one knows how this fish got it's name, but some scientists think it fits perfectly." One scientist described the fish as ‘ugly’, however explained that this is why he likes it. Hmmm: sounding like the Harley again.

--he added, "It’s got a big bulbous head and a tapering body and flabby skin. It almost looks like a glorified tadpole." Certainly not the streamlined, lean and mean body of the purpose built barracuda. Just like it's cousin in the motorcycle world, it looks like it's NOT designed with the concept of "form follows function."

--also from the same website: "And here’s a fun fact about them: Bony-eared assfishs have the smallest brain-to-body weight ratio of any known vertebrate."

Therefore I'd like to say, not only does this fish resemble a Harley, but it has much in common with the typical Harley rider...

You like that guy? What on earth is wrong with you? I would have thought your character judgment would be better after your lengthy career in law enforcement. I would not have let Gary anywhere around my family in the first place.

Lots, both in AZ and NH. We have ridden together ~1k miles over a couple of meetings. I even bought him a lobstah dinner and us NERDS taught him how to eat it. Here are just a few....
