Hey all, I just wanted to clarify smthng because I've gotten several emails about it...
The county we're going to be staying in (Blount County I think) is just a little damp, it's not totally dry... They have and sell beer and wine. You can get beer with your meals at most restaruants, including The Carriage House. But, if you want anything harder, you'll have to bring your own.
Also, I recall that there are only two stores in Townsend. If you want anything late at night (like after 8pm), you ain't getting it in Townsend.
Long and short of it... if you're good with beer, Townsend has you covered during the day. If you want anything else any time else, bring it with you or snag some on the way.
