After months of thought over adding another big bore sport bike to the garage, I finally decided on a 2008 Silver ZX-14. The guys at Honda Toledo East worked me a smoking deal on brand new still in the crate never been touched Silver 2008.

I appreciate all of the feedback from you guys on Busa's, K1300S's, ABS and everything else. :yahoo:

Let us know how you like it, especially after you get it out on a long trip. I've been tossing the idea around some also and would appreciate your take.

Hope you thoroughly enjoy the new bike!

That's okay, a true test of a man is if he can learn from his mistakes. All kidding aside, hope you enjoy your new ride.

I also have an FJR - 2007 model. In fact I rode the FJR in to work this morning and then rode the ZX-14 in to work after lunch. I love the FJR. When the FJR is equiped with my Motofizz bag, I can pretty much ride any distance for any number of days with my camping gear and whatnot.

I do plan on doing some long trips on the ZX-14, however, I wont be carrying camping gear and stuff like that on it. We will see how it does and I will report back to you guys on the results.

I met a friend in Phoenix this past week and he surprised me by riding up on his new ZX-14.

He's bringing it to town (El Paso) when he comes home for Thanksgiving in a few weeks and

we're gonna trade bikes for a day. We're both looking forward to seeing how good the other

one has it.

Congrats on your new bike. I saw the 09' colors at the International Cycle Show in Phoenix.

I really like the red too!
