Picked it up for $550, not too bad, only needed a rear tube to get it rolling. Had to run it up and down the street a few times to make sure the tranny worked... and we've been tearing up the grass in our itty bitty yard. I figure I could replace some beat up parts and clean it up and maybe sell it for a little profit next year after he's ready for something bigger.
Anyone have any tips for tweaking this thing on the cheap? I don't want to put much $$ in it, but a few things need replaced, like the brake lever perch and brake shoes. God, drum brakes are weak! Maybe stiffer shock/fork springs?
