The PNW Crew once again terrorizes the South Sound. And has some good pizza.

Great report! Looks like a stellar day in the PNW!

Thanks for the pics!

I love Poulsbo, just not sure why...

Let me provide some essential details:

- Hudson planned and lead a great trip even including the head fakes he gave us towards some logging roads

- You have to be beg for a bio break...

- Don't get between Niehart and food, audible growling occurs

- There was tragedy: A bird shat upon my high tech Navy Flight Deck Boot aka riding boot.

- I don't care what Hudson's ride report says: It was 12 hours and 317 miles of piss poor gas mileage

- Piss poor because this group exercised the half of the RPM range that makes the lower half possible

- Dog made a feint at crossing the road in front of Jay right in the middle of flying through the twisties

- Saw one of them there Canuck loons in Washington salt water. WTH?

A great ride and an even better group to hang with...and most planning to descend upon CFR in just a couple of months.

Mummm.... back roads..... Mummm.....

Good leader Hudson :fan_1: /AurburnFJR as backup

First ride with Beamer Reamer and SO... good addition

Quick crew & no prefromance awards & no crashes, um, well maybe ........

Two and half hour wait at the Kingstone ferry but bikes go to the front of the line.... there is a god!

Dave, good ride nice to get away from my riding grounds and go somewhere different!

Here's the Crew;

Only problem is when I got home I had to take the wife to the Emergency Room! She needs to have her appendix removed. So I just got home to feed the mutts and take a nap & shower while she goes thru prep and surgery.

Wow! Take care of the wife. Good thing you got to go to the front of the line at the ferry dock and got home a couple of hours sooner.

Dave - Thanks for the great ride route and the good company of FJR's - I think the speedo shot must have been from one of the slower sections of the ride?!?!?

Panman - hope your better half is o.k.

See ya all,

J

We were sorry to have missed this ride. Hudson once again the master of the ride report.

The roads in that area are really great fun, we did a few on our recent trip around the peninsula

Panman we hope that your wife is OK

Chris and Di

PS.

Thanks for posting the short of the speedometer, now my wife cannot give me so much grief for "going too fast" even though she really is getting to be a speed freak herself.

Well, I don't have Hudson's mad blogging skills so I will make do with a few pics:

Sorry to hear about your wife, hope she is recovering!

Ride Safe,

Taff.

Fun ride. Thanks to Hudson for organizing and the group for showing up and making another enjoyable day. There are so many good shots here that I don't know if I can add anything...But I'll check.

Pan -- Hope the SO is OK and already on the mend. That speedo shot must have been with Hudson leading...I know that Auburn and the Mrs. would never run those speeds.

Reamer -- I'm with ya, I exercised the top half of the range quite a bit myself...and you were following me more often than not...

As Reamer put it...no blogging skilz here either, but a few shots nonetheless.

The gang's all here, waiting in line to be first on the ferry boat.

Hudson taking a close look at something. He couldn't possibly need anything else on that black bike much less have room for it.

Jay -H has it all figgered out, breakfast of champions. Coffee and a smoke.

Why am I always number 1 when Niehart is around... I just know that poor lady on the phone is dialing 911 and asking for Homeland Security.

...more to come

Lunch stop for a low-cal salad and diet soda. Parking is getting better, except for two...more lessons needed.

Who'd ever thunk that two AE's would be on the same ride...much less park together. Taff forced me to take a stand.

Potty stop for you-know-who. Hudson -- ...but it's only a short walk away.

The photo above depicts the PNW crew:

a) mid-interpretive dance after eating "magic brownies" at a Phish concert

b ) dancing around after someone dosed our Kool Aid with some "happy acid"

c) divining water after ingesting Peyote in a Northwest Native ritual

d) dizzy after 28 miles of trying to keep pace with Auburn and Mrs Auburn on some crazy twisties
