Anyone know who makes a good mounting bracket for the Escort radar detector?

uuuuuummmmm. That's kind of vague. You have to put a liitle more effort into it than that. And...there might be a better heading to put this subject under.
The short smart-ass answer is... "Escort". They even have them suction cup thingies for the windshield. Did I pass the test?
Real answer is...depends. Where do you want to mount it, how do you want to mount it, what model is it, etc. See...those kind of things matter.
If you help us out, somebody will usually try to help you out. (doesn't hurt to help yourself out with a search beforehand too.)

my Adaptive TPX is a motorcycle specific unit that is waterproof/vibration resistant.
It's been "industrial strength" Velcro to the front brake reservoir with no issues
I'd consider putting the Passport in a plastic protective case and if the bottom is flat, you can Velcro

If you want to use RAM mounting stuff, you can also get their "Power Plate", which has two very strong magnets in the plate to allow a "quick disconnect" type of mount. Makes it easy to pocket the RD any time you'll be leaving the bike unattended.

I have a 9500ix and this is what I use. The ram mount's magnets are great and keep it secured. It comes with a metal plate to attach to your detector. It comes with double sided tape but just super glue that sucker directly to the radar detector.
It's great because it allows me to quickly take the detector off, stuff it in a bag and take it inside with me, or lock it in the hard bag.

The other advantage to the quick disconnect Power Plate is that if it starts to rain you can disconnect the cables and pocket the RD without even stopping the bike!
I have mounted one of the power plates to the top of my tank bag so that when it rains I just put a raincover over the whole shebang. Not that you really need an RD when riding in the rain, but it just makes the whole rain thing easier. Also makes cabling to my Starcom1 inside the tank bag easier and neater.
I've gone one step further and found a small water-resistant zippered cordura pouch to slip the RD inside for stealthiness. I like the idea that passersby and police can't see that it is an RD on the top of my tank bag. I screwed a steel plate to the bottom of the cordura bag and it sticks to the Power plate quite nicely. Of course it eliminates and possibility of sensing a laser alert, but I'm OK with that. Usually by the time a real laser alert goes off you are staring at the guy with the gun in his hand on the side of the road.
Seems to work fine for K and KA band detection. Better than when I tried keeping it inside the glove box, where it seemed to not be as sensitive due to the 90 degree orientation.
