Breaking News on 2006 FJRs

It's dealers that ordered extra in their family, friends, and pets name betting they'd sell them....or in my case a person that put money down, but backed out on.

I called around 24 different Yammy dealers in the PNW over a two week period August of 2004 and found one, drove 120 miles, and drove away with it.

Yup, found mine on dealer floor in Ft. Worth, there were two 05 ABS; last June and they each had 2 miles on the clock. Deposited my butt on one and, did not move til the dealer understood it was sold. B)

Found mine on Dealer floor in Ft. Worth in July ,05 ABS with no miles on clock. Found it ona friday and rode it home the following Wednesday. Still grinning.

The Cycle Trader is showing that Broward Motorsports (FL) has two '05s (one ABS, one non-) on the floor.

haven't called them to confirm, but the ad was placed last week.

I got mine there, off of the floor (no PDP).

My Dealer called today, April 06, no day just month. I ordered on Nov. 3.

did you have any miles on your bike when u'all picked up your new 05??

Mine had 3.2 miles on it at delivery, but zero on the showroom floor. The 3.2 were a dealer mechanic check. If it was obvious to me that they had been test driving my bike, I wouldn't take it. Test riders push bikes. Pre-break in is not the time to push a bike.

I haven't heard anything yet but will call tomorrow for sure. Let's see, this will be the 4th call in two weeks. Hey, if they are gonna torture me with this insanity I'm going to torture them too!
