Brier Inn Room Reservations

A Reminder;

Our block of rooms at the Brier Inn are due to be released on 1 September. If you haven't already done so, please call the front desk at 304-645-7722 and make your reservation. Be sure to specify that you are with the FJR Motorcycle group, group number 1300. Remember, registering on fjreom.com does not make your reservation for the hotel.

There a alot more guests registered on www.fjreom.com than hotel rooms reserved at this point. I spoke to the hotel and they only have 10 rooms left right now for that weekend, not including ours. As of this morning, the front desk said we had 68 rooms reserved leaving 12 in our block. These rooms were blocked and held for us until 1 September.

I will be talking to our group reservation POC at the hotel when she comes in to see if we can extend our block, but I need everyone who intends to stay at the Brier Inn to call and make there reservations as soon as possible. Otherwise, you may end up camping on the back lawn or under the bike wash tent (which I'm not sure will be too welcomed by the Brier Inn staff...).

Bump.

I spoke to the hotel today. They have 82 room reservations under the FJR 1300 group. We have over 118 registered attendees who indicated that they were going to stay at the Brier Inn. I understand and expect a few people to split rooms as I did last year.

The hotel has agreed to extend our room block hold until this Friday, September 5th. They have 25 rooms total left for the weekend of EOM. They expect to fill up that weekend. If you plan to stay at the Brier Inn, I can stress the importance of making your reservation now.

You got me thinking about the reservations so I thought I better call and make sure mine are still ok. I made them during the first week or so of the EOM announcement. Nice people at the Brier. Verified my reservations. I'll sleep better tonight. :clapping:
