A friend of mine called me today and said he had heard that Buell was about to introduce a new "GS" style bike. I can't imagine what this latest Eric Buell creation might be, but it's true. Go to the Buell website and you'll see this is no rumor. Introduction is July 23rd. A Sportster based Adventure tourer? That would truly be an adventure! Perhaps a whole different engine platform? Time will tell............

So now after 40 miles, you'll be stranded in the middle of no where instead of on the road when it breaks down. Fook Buell!

Yep, exactly my point.

Although I did ride both the Thunderbolt and Lightning today at the Buel Road Show. They were actually quite a bit of fun.

Or maybe it was firebolt? Anyway, Buell only has 2 models and I rode them both. I only rode the 1200 and it was really funny, but I had absolutely zero use for 5th gear until I hit around 80-90mph. Really, at 60, the roll-on was pathetic in 5th. But except for that, it was actually a fun, flickable bike.
