That chase scene on the big screen....I was two when the film came out and never got to see it in theaters. A tv doesn’t do it justice.

That would be fun. Sadly, I'm booked at both times on both days when it's airing here.

There's only 1 problem I can see. There's no way to fast forward through the first half to 2/3rds of the movie to skip the 60's version of (plodding) drama. It set the stage for the maverick cop that has to get the job done under the heels of politicized management and a yelling boss. But so many have followed since then that those tropes are thread bare.

Saw this last night, it was WAY better on the big screen. So much detail and sound effects are lost when you watch on the small screen. I enjoyed the build up, loved the music, dug the cinematography. Chase scene didn’t disappoint. Viewed with 1968 lenses, didn’t disappoint.

Ground breaking chase scene.
