I have only found one other forum that is on par with this one. Brian Enos has a forum for competitive shooters that is absolutely 2nd to none.

As stated before, this forum sets the bar pretty damn high, so I have been getting used to being disappointed when looking for forums on other topics.

Sorry to hear you are not on the same "wave length" as most on the Busa channels. But predictable.

The best motorcycle forum I've ever been on was the the VTXOA (VTX owners association) forum. It had over 20,000 members and as such the information availiable was second to none.

The technical section was superb! It was owned and run (Probably paid admins.) by a Honda dealer out of Ohio. He also owned a dealership in Florida. He ran separate forums for ST1300's, Goldwings, and the new Suzuki cruisers. He runs an on line parts operation with excellent prices. Obviously a profit making (capitalist) operation and a darn good one at that. Honda Direct Line is the internet operation and of course featured VERY prominately on all the MC forums.

However, it was VERY FAMILY oriented and no swearing was allowed. Politics, religion, etc was discouraged or forbidden. However, he had a sub-forum (required a separate password) for "political" discussions. I kinda liked that as those that wanted to could go over there and bash each other could, while most members remained on the main forums. Very helpful and friendly bunch of people there. I still go back and say Hi to my friends there.

WC if you can't find the site for you, sounds like you might be on track creating your own for those who like to ride instead of those who like to pose or customize...
Like Painman said  Seems you've done it once or twice before ;)

WC create your own thing, there must be lots of others that bought a busa for simular reasons as you. When I bought the FJR, I didn't know about bike forums and thought that it would be a model that I always have to explain to people who didn't get what it was.

'Though I think you will have to do a lot more 'weeding' to control the poser types.

Hey Warchild are you the guy who used to (or may still) own a Honda XX and post on the XX forums? If you are the same warchild I remember you from that forum. I am new here but I know how you feel about the busa forums and most of the guys that ride them. I own a 06 ZX-14 Kaw and most of those forums are filled with the same immature people (squids) you have been meeting. Pay them no mind and just enjoy the superb bike for what it is. I own 3 bikes currently. The 06 ZX-14, a 05 FJR-1300 and a 03 HD Superglide. I use each one for a different kind of riding and ride each with different people. The HD crowd can be just as intolerant and opinionated as the squids and I very seldom ride with another Harley rider.

Yes.

Though I don't do cbr1100xx.org anymore... it's a waste of time. But I am on cbrxx.com a fair amount.

Yep, that's three distinctly different communities, without a doubt. :D I occasionally visit zx14ninja.com, cuz a fair number of former XX riders are there.

But between here, BusaNation.com and cbrxx.com, it's all I can do to keep my head above water sometimes....

Came across this link in another thread. Check out the third photo down and you'll see a bandaged 'Busa in Alaska.

clicky

It seems WC is not alone in wanting to use the 'Busa to ride long and hard.

Sweet!

But I believe his soft luggage may be impacting the Busa's aerodynamics.....
