I might not make this one, I took a new job at work but the boss put a hold on me till 2/11/11 to finish the project I'm on now, plus I'll be working the new job also.

The bike is starting to come down now, hoping to get it back together but the stars will have to align well for me to get it back together as a lot needs to be done or looked at.

IF it's the same Buster's I was at yesterday - yummy! I ended up stopping on the way home from McMinnville and the GPS routed me to (I think) the wrong Buster's, but I'm not entirely sure. I went to the one Bill ******* wrote a letter to. ;)

Still, great stuff. :)

I might still show up for this anyways, but if I do it will be on crutches instead of my FJR. I broke both my tibia and fibula of my right leg clean through Thursday night at Mt Hood Meadows. It was supposed to be the last run of the day anyways, so I decided to make it a REALLY interesting one  And I always wanted to ride in a rescue ski sled! Oh well but it would have been much more enjoyable without that crazy guy screaming the whole way down. And thank god for the new tight thermal fit inner boots, without those the continuous scream would have staid only half as loud when it came time to take the boots off. All in good fun though. My buddy drove me from the Meadows medical facility to the hospital, where I had a bunch of hardware put into my leg the next day, and by Saturday afternoon I just wanted to go home. I'm down to anti-inflammatory and ibuprofen, since I can't see why so many people groove on the opiate pain meds that everybody seems to prescribe nowadays. I can't stand the loopyness you get from those and the loss of all higher brain functions...wait, did I actually have any before? Just can't remember...

Hope to still meet you all there!

Chris, so sorry to hear of your tib/fib issue. I used to haul a shitload of folks with similar injuries down the hill for a lot of years and 'twas interesting to see what types scream the loudest when taking air off a mogul with the toboggan.

Yes, we want to see you at Buster's!

Damn Chris...sounds like you did a number on the leg! Sending good thoughts your way...and stop sliding down mountains with boards strapped to your feet. ;)

Heal up fast and hope to see you at Buster's.

Ralph, put me down for 2. We'll hook up with the rest of the PNW crew going. We may end up staying overnight in Portland Saturday night.

Looking forward to seeing the great unwashed, totally crazy, wonderful folks from the Seattle area! Hopefully we will get a good turnout of local folks as well. Can always count on Ray coming over from La Pine. Let me know if I can help the group out from this end.

Looks like I will be in the area on this weekend(daughter lives in Tigard, says about 5 min. from rest). I have wanted to meet some of the PNW contingent. So as of right now I plan to be there.
