Time for a bump here to get some more peep's signed on.

Not necessary to ride in for this if the weather is ****** or your bike is down for some reason. This is strictly a social meet and greet, tell lies, and eat good food! Bring the family!

Lots of local riders that should be coming out. Call your buds and give them a poke!

Lets get signed in so I have a bit of an head count for the establishment.

Can't remember (getting old is a *****!), but might have a conflict with this weekend. If not, count on Panman and me to be there with bells on. Since you've already put in the forecast reservation Ralph, I'll just add that no snow or ice would be appreciated...Hope to see you next month.

Ralph, George will have the bells on, I may make him ride behind me, but we're still planing on going if the weather is even close to decent.

You guys heading south from Seattle. Looks like the weather will be semi ok. If you pass a trailer with a Honda Transalp on it, Thats me. Have to be in Mt Vernon Friday and back to Busters Saturday.

Pan and I will be leaving around 9-ish from the Everett area. We'll probably rendezvous at the I-5 southbound rest stop just south of 526. Figure on an easy slab ride with a couple bike shop stops once we get close to the border.

If anyone is planning on making the trip to Buster's and would like to tag along shoot me a PM.

All y'all are welcome...

Hi Guys and Gals,Well.. Local FJR newb here. My bike probably wont be legal yet to ride to Busters by the 30th, I'm still waiting for the title to be signed over, but if you'll have me there anyway then count me in!

I am very much looking forward to meeting the local forum members. :)

Chris

See Ya there. :yahoo:
Since I have confirmation now that the title is in the mail, I'll get a trip permit tomorrow morning at the DMV. Looks like I'll be there with my new ride after all..

See ya'll tomorrow!

:bike: :good:

Gotta bail on this. Sorry to disappoint all you guys that I've never met before. Hopefully I'll catch the next one.

Got home about 10:40 from a rainy ride out of Portland. Face shield fogged up, glasses fogged up, couldn't see the lines...you get the picture. Fun day spent visiting various shops and looking for cool-aid. :p Good turn out for dinner, around 18-ish or so. Thanks again to bikerskier for setting it up, was great seeing everyone again.

That was fun! 4 from the Seattle area, 2 from Central Oregon, 2 from Vancouver, 5 from Oregon City, 2 from McMinville and I believe the rest from the PDX area, my count was over 20.

Lots of ride planning going on and great stories.

Got him at 10 PM, pissed rain all the way home. I think a couple in front of me didn't like the FF-50's. Too bad, need them too see. Good job Ralph! Good to see and meet some of the Portland folks that I haven't seen before.

It was great meeting you all, and many thanks for making me feel welcome!

My glasses/visor fogged up as well on my way home, and I had just discovered that morning before I rode my bike to the DMV to get it registered that I am out of rain/x. I wanted to buy something different next time, any input much appreciated. So not much visibility, but at least I didn't have as far as all the folks from Seattle.

It's great to put faces to real names and forum names. I apologize ahead of time if I have to ask again next time we meet, I am known to be bad with names...

I am very much looking forward to seeing most of you again at AuburnFJR's techmeet!

So far so good on Fog-it I got from Amazon after good reviews on Webbikeworld. My Nolan pinlock fog visor works great also, but I have the com stuff on my HJC and the fog City visor insert was only fair on that helmet. Not able to make myself as my daughter is home for the week for winter break.

Rain? What rain? Oh, that wetness falling from the sky, THAT is not rain. We know what real rain is. That was just a sprinkle.

Pinlock visor inserts work folks. Well worth the cash. A little Cat Crap on the glasses will probably do the trick there. LINK

Great to see everyone and share stories as well as just getting out and having some good sit down chow for a change. Lots of good riding in the works for 2010 from the talk at dinner. I can't wait for the decent weather to get here!

It was great meeting you all and seeing some of you again. My daughter (11) said she was freezing all the way home. I knew she was exaggerating when she said, "Thanks for taking me." I said "Anytime". She said, "How about tomorrow?".

Rain. No rain - at least you guys got to ride . . . . .

-19 Celsius (that's a mite colder than -2 in American) earlier today and there's lots of snow out there and lots of ice on the roads - my bike isn't going anywhere for at least another 6 weeks and even then it'll be iffy.

Glad SOMEONE got out and had a good time.
