Unofficially, after the first day, looks like he is in 6th place! I really hope he picked up that coffee mug!

I couldn't tell you for sure if he picked it up or not. There was one at least one FJR in the first group of eight that were waiting for me as I pulled up with 45 seconds to spare for the 2-6 bonus. I didn't have much time after leaving work to make it there. So I didn't get to meet everyone there as they grabbed their cups and left pretty quickly. I guess I'll have to wait to see who all made it there. Then "Mr. Bill" from this forum stopped by around 5:00 and was the last one we saw for the day.

The blog has been updated with leg two results and the disclosure of the secret third check point.

FJR riders are at present kicking ass, Behmer and Stryg8r are first and second.

Another FJR rider Mike Phelps (don't know his forum name) the leader leaving the first check point had to drop out after "biting off more than he could chew"

Umm, Denver I think. They're in for the IBR next year so they're trying to do all the rallying they can before then to gather up some experience. We met at the Utah 1088, then happened to run into them in Polson MT on the way to NAFO. They were just out riding around, racking up more miles (gotta love doing THAT), and arrived within minutes of us at the same motel. We had dinner together, and I told them about NAFO and they'd know quite a few of the folks there. They stopped in on Saturday to say howdy.

Let's hope they can keep up the pace at SPANK, and then keep it up until next August. They're riding a Beemer, but I'll cheer for them anyway.

There were 2 FJR riders waiting for Grady to show up. I know my mug is still intact at the moment, but can't comment on Pete's. Hope I can make it to the scoring table with it in the morning.
