Just received my certificate confirming completion of a CA In-state BBG. . I did it on July 6, so the cert service is really fast. Great fun, difficult challenge, and a good warmup for the Ten'n'Ten rally this month. Full ride report here

I am glad to see you made it to Big Bear. That is where I really live, and I had not heard that the BB Vets park was a Cal Bonus on the tour of honor. I remember when they dedicated the park, but I still have not checked it out. I will now.

I am glad you got to sample the Lucerne Valley grade. Chris Ogden and I got to ride it at 2:00 am after finishing a SS one time. We took it slow and easy, as it is a little twisty at times!

That was a good read, thanks! I did my SS1K in-state about 6 yrs ago, so since my butt has healed up, <_< I need to look into doing a BBG.
