Further to the discussion of stiffer penalties for car drivers causing bike accidents - frequently with devastating results ....Yesterday afternoon, a car crossed the centre line of a secondary road here and took out 5 bikes - on their way to a wedding (groom included). They were all ATGATT apparently. 2 released from hospital; 3 upgraded from critical to stable. Lots of fractures. "Driver inattiention may have been a factor" :dribble: No charges - yet .........
