Hi All!
I bought my '06 FJR just over a month ago and have found this forum invaluable in inspiring me and helping me as I embarked on a major service of my blue beauty, which has only 13,000kms on the clock.
I changed/bled all fluids, replaced filters, plugs, lubed rear splines, and synched the throttle bodies.
Also, my updated trunk was cracked around the "new" reinforcement plate so I had a fiberglass job to do.
Naturally, I cleaned and detailed my bike from top to bottom.
Finally the weather smartened up and I took her out for a shakedown ride in the foothills of The Rockies
near Calgary, Alberta.
What follows is my report. Hope you like it.
]
From Nanton I droned the forty-five minutes back to Calgary.
The bike ran flawlessly and everything checked out.
Now, with a little seat modification and unwinding the throttle tension, the bike will be perfect!
Cheers for now!
