Wow....nice post. I would like to go to Banff and Calgary too.....so much t see and do. Isn't wonderful to have such a full life?

Thanks for the write-up.

I just went through your pics and report again. Really an outstanding trip and post. When Fang gets home I'm going to sit with her and look at them together. And oh yeah, I'm going to steal one of your sunset photo skies for an oil painting I'm doing. :p

Go fir it Hans. The one of Puget sound is now my desktop background. If you're interested, you can check out the other 950+ pics from the trip too :p Pics just don't do justice tho. The scale of things is just awesome out there. If you and Fang get a chance to go, JUMP at it!

Ray - I will have to hit the thesaurus for awesome equivalents. Great trip. I am going to have to notch it up from "riding on weekends" to "riding somewhere" Since its really not safe to ride alone you will just have to take me next time - :clapping:

Midlife

Creston... Err.... Yellowstone was great! There was a major fire a few years ago, so there's still alot of dead trees standing, but the forest is reclaiming itself slowly. Traffic? What traffic? I was on a bike  Honestly, the only traffic I hit the whole trip was thru the Seattle area where there was heavy road construction, no lane sharing, and rush hour.

That weird place in BC that you can't remember the name of is Three Valley Gap - some kind of resort and amusment park.

As to tiny waterfalls, you ought to head to Niagara, and don't forget, the big one is OURS ! :) ))

I'm always so happy to see our American friends riding up here. The rest of you just don't realize what you're missing.
