Yeah, warm winters are nice, but they lead to that. We're going though the same thing. We're running out of water, but we still have beer, so I guess we're ok.

Tough times, our foothill community is supplied water from Lake McClure (Exchequer) which they tell us we'll be out of water by mid June. Sadly I've had to look into a 5,000 gallon storage tank that I might have to put into service if some of the planned ground wells don't work out. Everyone should shower with a friend to help save water.....

The list of friends with whom I would shower isn't very long. The list of those who would shower with me is even shorter.

Yeah, it's gonna be dry here this year, I think. Raining various household pets right now, but that won't last...

No dam pics?
Here is one.. Loon Lake reservoir. Pretty darn low...

Stumpy meadows reservoir. Also pretty damn low. These all eventually feed into Folsom Lake reservoir or so I think..

We have had plenty of rain in Oregon, but no snow.

Snow levels at historic lows. Gonna' be a wildfire summer.

Since we can't cut trees anymore, we should build some big pipelines to California and sell water.

If it was possible and somebody could get rich it would already be done. Then Oregon would look like the Owens valley after they sucked all the water out of it.

Dammit Ray; You had to burst my bubble. I just bought a shovel, some new welding gloves, and some Chinese pipe.

Maybe I'll go back to my other idea: Lassoing icebergs.

No worries. We will have the high speed rail soon. When our water runs out, we can all get out of Dodge by catching the high speed rail to ....

.... nowhere!

Let's take bets on the date boats will be ordered out of Browns Ravine at Folsom Lake. My guess is they won't make the 4th of July.

Was back at Loon Lake reservoir yesterday. 3 weeks after that picture with my V-Strom and supposedly after some rain and snow in the mountains in between. I see no improvement in the snow pack or the water levels.
