Just curious. I was kinda shocked when I went to insure my 07 FJR AE with Progressive and the cost was $650 per year. Is this the norm for CA? I figured it would bee in the $300 Range. My KTM Dual Sport that was $9k is only in the $200's per year for California. So who are you using, and what are you paying if you don't mind. I wann do some shopping around...

I use Foremost for my '05A, and pay $604 per year. Mileage is listed as 12k per, $500 deductible for comp and collision, 100/300/100 liability, uninsured coverage, and towing (for $8 per year). I have no listed tickets or accidents.

I used Geico and pay 500 year for full coverage. Progresive wanted over 1300 from me even though I have my toy hauler insured with them which is only 200 bucks a year.

just did mine with GMAC, almost 12 years now with bikes. FJR and DL650, $358, both bikes for the year., 1000 ded. no uninsured motorist. 100/300, passenger liability and $1500 acc.

My renewal w/ Foremost is $386 this year for the one bike. $500 deductible, uninsured motorist, optional equipment, replacement cost, towing, roadside assistance and trip interruption.

It depends on your record, where you live, age etc. Usually Geico is one of the highest around in Ca. Almost three time higher than my GMAC for the same coverage.
