My wife 4 years ago got a Bushnell camera binocular for a family "white elephant" Christmas gift. It has "died" and she's looking for a new one.

Anyone use a camera binocular? If so which one, would you buy it again, or what other one would you get?

TIA,

Roy

How did it work? I've looked at them and never found one with decent camera resolution.....Canon has a small point and shoot with 12X optical zoom and 12 Mega Pixels (PowerShot SX200 IS) for under 300.00....just a reference.....zooms have gotten a lot better.

Hm, I have a regular Canon PowerShot SX10IS digital camera and it's 10 megapixels with a 20x optical zoom, which is a hell of a lot better than anything mentioned here. Plus an image stabilization system that actually works. Plus if I enable the digital zoom, it goes up to 80x zoom, which is pretty insane, but useful for pics of the Shuttle on the pad from the tour bus stop.

I'd skip the goofy binocular thing if I were you.
