Just checked into EOM forum and was looking for some east coast FJR camping rally's. Can someone link me to some events? Hotels are fine but gatherings at campgrounds have always seemed to be the most fun. Hey even the beemer guys do it and even sleep in tents...No kidding!!

Thanks, Bill

Wasn't the last EOM a camping rally? :dntknw: It was at a campground and some of us camped! Just ask Geezer, my next door neighbor in the campground.

Nothing stops anybody from camping...You just find it a....well... quiet. I wasn't at the last EOM, but they are right, people did camp.

People did camp at CFR in 2009. I camped at NAFO this year.

People did camp at Wheaton's first weekend ride.

If I do go to EOM this year I may camp. Still don't whether I'm going to EOM

For the last 3 years, we've had an annual FJR campout in May; the last being at Breaks Interstate Park, VA. Last year's EOM had some camping as well, although campgrounds didn't seem to be the focus of the resort. For this year's EOM, there's camping in the area, but a little more removed from the main venue.

Keep an eye on the forums, the East Coast tends to have a number of events each year you can look into, from north to south. :D

You might want to check the "Regional Ride Planning" section.

There is one in the plans over in the other sand box...

Campi-n-ride Holly River State Park, Hacker Valley, WV July 20-22

should be a great time.
