I had a chance to ride the Can Am spider today and caught it on film... Sorry Camera was aimed a bit low but caught the trike very well...This Can am spider trike well very fast and as heard on the film it will do burn outs....It had the Rotax 990 motor in it.... Thank you to Cal Coast motorsport for allowing me to ride it.......

Yep, it will smoke the tire through at least 2nd gear without even trying. I did it on the this one that belongs to a friend of mine in Austin TX.

I got to ride a couple of them here in North Texas a little over a week ago. Interesting rides and certainly gets a lot of attention on the road. Thought a Hardly guy was going to drop his bike, girlfriend and all, trying to twist around to look at what was stopped behind him at the light.

They were ok for quickness, but certainly not the same thrill as the FJR. I also couldn't get used to that whole turning thing. Not leaning bike thing really threw me for a loop. Being on three wheels, the back tire was indeed fun to play with. I think I would probably be wearing them out quite often both accelerating and then chirping them on the slow down.

Maybe some day.
