I took delivery on a new '07 AE a couple of weekends ago and have been smiling ever since. I'm still getting used to the lady and am breaking her in gently but, da**, she's a nice machine!

Maybe take a look at the black cherry you could have had (and it includes a clutch lever free!) and maybe that'll knock you down a peg... haha

Enjoy it! Even in silver it's wonderful!!

Can anybody help me...., ...get this stupid grin off my face
That's like walkin' into a room full of drunks and asking if someone will help you sober up

Glad you like the bike. Then again, we knew you would ;)

Been trying to train my face to stop the grin for two years now. Sorry, you're on your own with this one, I can't help.

Ok.............come over the top of a long sweeper doing 110 in a 65 and watch the 5.0. hit you with the radar.

that should wipe the smile off yer face.

Ouch...sounds like you know this from experience.

If you really feel you need help, then this technique should work:

The next time you grin, try biting down on your tounge. Real hard.

Drop it like I did, that will remove the smile awfully fast.

On second thought please don't. Glad you are having a good time. Stay safe.

Thanks for the encouragement, everybody ..........though, please forgive me if i don't follow some of the advice given above. LOL. Just as an update, I took her out into the rain a few days ago to sharpen up my foul weather riding skills. Even in the rain, she performed very well. I have some vacation days coming up soon and am looking forward to some sunny days taking her around the backroads along the Appy Mtn. foothills in east TN.

I can help.

Get off of your bike and go on in to work. That'll do it (for about 8 hours). Unfortunately, the smile starts coming back around 4:50.
