First thanks to all the various threads, photos, and how-to's that made my first 600 mile carb synch relatively painless. I used the Morgan Carbtune pro and had these initial readings (mm):
Cylinder: 1 2 3 4
Initial: 210 210 185 205
Final: 205 205 210 205
So everything is in spec with respect to the rule of no more than 10 mm difference between carbs. But I could not get to the 250 mm recommended midpoint. In fact, I could not get over 210 mm, even with the screws turned all the way in. Yes, I did install the dampeners on the Morgan as required and it was hanging vertical.
Everything seems to be running fine, but is there any reason to be concerned about not being able to draw higher vacuum? Note that I live at ~5400 ft elevation if that makes a difference.
Thanks!
