It might be cheaper to replace the stock cover when you scrape it than put one of these on.

$255 AUD = $265 USD today. That's alot of money

I've had one on my 03' since 04' as a "Just in case" I crash scenario. Hoping that it would allow me the opportunity to ride it home in certain circumstances. Fortuanately I've never had to use it yet.

True is you scrape less than a 1/8" (aluminum material) or so... any more and your bike is disabled.

The new one is 3P6-15411-00-00 COVER, CRANKCASE 1 for $84.92 and not something you are going to carry around.

The cover is great insurance and piece of mind... just in case.

I happened to get mine from Bike Johnny/England while they were still made there.
