Shaweeet... did you take the sidecases off for clearance purposes? ;) Or was it a covert/stealth run? :agent:

I pulled off the sidecases mainly because I just don't like riding with them if I can help it. I only have the stock shocks and them puppies are fairly heavy. I was also somewhat considering the possibility of saving as many bits as possible in case I had an intimate visit with the road. As I've hinted at in a few of my other posts... it was quite wet. The shots by Killboy were well after everything had dried up. As for clearance... I don't think the cases would make a difference. I'm pretty sure you'd be scraping up the pipes and centerstand enough to lever the rear tire off before you got to scrape the cases.

And I'll have you know that I did "de-virginize" my left peg right right before one of those shots. ;) I don't know if it was the road or just the way the feejer is designed, but I've never had a scarier peg-scraping than that one. The amount of chatter through that peg was ridiculous... I thought my front caliper or something had come off until I got out of the corner.
