Unfortunately, all too often humility comes after the crash.
Honzo, it's cool that you enjoy your ride and I wish you the best. But you scare me too.

Ride safe.
+1 ...sounds like the beginning of a cautionary tale. Maybe just a little too much "joy" at the edge. (I am sure my friends say the same thing about me though)

Nice bike!

Honzo,

One of my good friends just bought a very slightly used '07 600 CBRR (about 1200 miles)..Just like yours, except her's is pearl white. Anyway, a bunch of us rode to a local hang-out to watch the UFC fights last night, so when we got there, she gave me the keys and I went for a ride. Totally not the 600's I rode in college. That thing was a rocket, especially after about 8-9k. It handled excellent, and I since I was hugging the tank, I laughed every time I gunned it and the force slid my *** to the back of the seat. Soon as my FJR is paid off, I'm gonna add one to my garage. Have fun and be safe.

Just let my cousin take a spin on it last night. THis is the guy that loaned me his Vrod many times so of course I was obligated and knew he'd been on a couple sport bikes before so figured he's be cool with it. I let him know what to expect as/if he goes into to top half of the tach and also not to grab the front break, just massage it with A finger.

I have been present when some of his friends were lauding how powerful his Vrod was if they had gotten a chance to ride it. I too think it's got a good yank to it and is stunning to view. It just feels to me like it's going to rip apart when in the high revs so I never completely pushed it. Well, my cousin, upon returning from his little trek on the 600RR... and I quote his whispered ear to ear laugh..."HOLY ****!"
