The local phone folks (Qwest) is trying to sell me new cell service. They say that thier coverage is good because they also use Sprint to expand coverage.

Anybody out there have any first hand information to pass out??? I have ATT now and am happy but if something is better I might switch. Thanks for any info.

I use Verizon and have found great coverage nationwide.

Do some research on phones though because the best

currently are dual or tri mode.

You'll want something that is at least analog-digital.

I will second Verizon.

The have been better than any other provider in my area and while travelling

I use att/cingular and have been happy with them. A big reason is that att built a system of analog towers for the USFS years ago and they still work in a lot of remote places I like to play in, i.e., northern sierra nevada mountains.

I am looking for input on the Qwest/Sprint combination if anyone has it. Thanks :)
