The only thing I'd add to clarify your statement is that moving the center of gravity will move the center of rotation.
We're gonna confuse those folks who believe that a motorcycle's center of rotation is at the contact patch........

You are right but the original poster wanted information and I didn't want things going off in the "lower is always better" direction. It takes awhile for people to think about and understand your second sentence.

We've sorta peeked into motorcycle motion dynamics..... a segue' off "center of gravity".

Motorcycles are only fun when they're moving, so the single subject of COG becomes obfuscated as soon as you let the clutch out. Dozens of books have been written on the subject and there is no "one right answer" to The Tao of Handling.
