A ride from the north Orlando area around Lake Apopka, through Mt. Plymouth and Mt. Dora to the German bakery in Yalaha. I generally make this run at least once a month. Many of the best 'curves' I know of in central Florida (short of freeway on ramps, that is). The coffee is good, and there is almost always a guitarist or three playing outside on a Saturday morning. Not to mention the 'brats!

About 90 to 100 miles, 3 or so hours, depending on snack time at the bakery. I ran out of points, but generally make a run along Sugarloaf Mountain as part of the loop on the way back:

I didn't think there were ANY good M/C roads in Fl but we ran 19 through Ocala National Forest after helping the kids move to Orlando and I was wishing that I was on the bike. Don't think I'll make a special trip down there just to ride it though

Was hoping to make it an invite for the coming weekend, but remembering my anniversary (in time!) makes that a bad idea. Will be posting a proposed date shortly.

You should ride Sufarloaf the other direction, as going down from the peak is fun!
