For those of you wondering here's the scoop on CFO 06.

WHERE: Sparta Best Western Trail Lodge, Sparta Wisconsin

WHEN: September 15-17, 2006

I also need know about the menu. Here are the choices we have, let me know what you would like. I want to get this finalized before riding season starts so all we have to do is show up. Don't worry about the prices I believe we will be getting a break on the prices. I'm also setting it up so you can reserve your room & dinner at the same time.

Here's the menu, let me know what you would like for dinner. My vote is for the Prime rib, chicken, baked patato and corn.

Alright grnarrowe! Good work! I'm psyched!

I've got a question regarding dinner...Are we to book the hotel room and indicate dinner plans to the motel? OR are we to send YOU a pm or just post our choice here in this thread? Just wonderin...

Also, will there be any additional fees for the CFO besides the hotel and dinner fee?

Wheaton,

When you book your room let the hotel know if you want dinner and how many. You will get one bill for the room & dinner. The dinner will be banquet style. So the menu is for all who are staying for dinner. I'll check to see if they can do just a dinner rate for those who can only make it for dinner Saturday night.

Just post your choice for dinner here, I'll keep checking to see what everyone wants for dinner. I'm trying to get an idea of what everyone wants for dinner so the hotel can have everything they need in advance. This way all we have to do is show up, ride, eat, have LOTS O FUN then leave.

At this time there will be NO additional fee for CFO 06.

Good as those hot dogs might be ('specially 12 of 'em :blink: and only 24 bucks), I'm in for the PR, a Baker, and Brownie.

I'll be the odd one here...

Chicken, baked tater, vegie of choice with brownie, ice cream and caramel sauce.

Someone's gotta do it!

Besides, grnarrowe is used to it! :bleh:

Hey guys, cheese it. It's the wife!! :D

Nothing to see here, move along. :blink:

Can we make hotel reservations now, and do we just need to tell them it's for the CFO?

Any group rates?

Not yet. Want to firm up the group rate, trying to get it lower, and I want to finalize the menu for Saturday's dinner. When that's done I'll post all of the infromation for everyone to make their reservations.

I plan on calling the hotel on Friday to firm up the dinner menu and get prices for the rooms and dinner. Since only a few have let their intentions known on dinner here’s what we’ll be having;

Prime rib or Chicken (your choice)

Baked potato

Corn

For desert;

Brownie with vanilla ice cream and Carmel sauce

After I get everything set with the hotel I’ll post up all info in a new thread and have it pinned. Thanks for the input.

I was really countin' on the hot dogs. Really like hot dogs.
Not a problem. Bring a little high strength foil and a pack of hot dogs. Wrap the dogs in around the exhast canister using the foil and some safety wire - buns go on the other side of the bike. Condiment packets go in the glove box. Instant roadside snack - you can smell 'em when they're done.

Staintune cans make cleanup easier. :beach:
