I'm gonna try to post some MS maps of the 2 routes I'm suggesting for those coming to CFO that have NO IDEA where to go or where to ride on Saturday. There may be better routes...I'm sure there are. These are just what I have come up with.

The first image will be an overall of the route with following images being blowups showing road designations.

I will bring turn by turn directions to hand out on Friday night...

First route 330 miles...

Next post will be the 200 mile route...

NOW THE 200 MILE ROUTE...

Hope this peaks some interest in the roads for some of you...

Travel times...

Just to let you know, I have MS elapsed travel times for the 330 mile loop and the 200 mile loop.

You need to ADD your meal/gas/snack break stop times to these.

I put the driving speed on "medium" so these elapsed travel times should be pretty conservative.

330 mile loop - 8 hours, 23 minutes

200 mile loop -5 hours, 21 minutes

I will attempt to attach an image of the turn directions for the 2 routes...

The driving times are assuming you leave Sparta and take NO breaks. Obviously everybody will take breaks and some will leave earlier than 9:00 am or later. However I left the data in there because I thought that atleast the differential time information between turns might be helpful...

Use these routes or not...YOUR CHOICE.

330 mile route

Tom,

NOT to worry. Notice the smilies after my statement... :D :D

Looking forward to seeing you and any other Canadians intent on invading the US this weekend...eh :D

Yeah, I agree with you. Are there plans for groups to depart at a certain time or is this all on your own? I'd prefer to ride in a group and not have to worry about maps. Either way I'm sure it will be a blast!

Thanks,

Joe

I can lead the short ride if ya's like. Used to it after 4 years as a Road Captain in our club and after leading our Blue Ridge vacation.

I only have 2 rules;

1) NO WHINING ABOUT THE SPEED WE ARE FLYING AT, OR TAXING AT. :D

2) NO, REPEAT, NO CRASHING OR FALLING DOWN IN GENERAL

3) There is no rule #3 :p :D

GOT IT? GOOD! Let's ride. :D :D :D

Cool.....count us in as no-whining followers! (I'm not even going to mention the other thing).

Everyone have fun playin' on those most excellent Wisconsin alphabet roads! Wish I was able to join ya.
