+1Sounds like a bunch of girlie men ryders  ....who need to be pumped up  ....
I'm in for this, riding up from San Diego. Had lunch with Bill and Steve. They're all over an IB going South... not me. I'll head to the rally in Nelson, then Kelowna, then Vancouver, then Victoria (on the Island). Probably: 2 or 3 days up, 2 days at the rally, 3 or 4 days with friends and family in BC and 3 days back south. Let's get together and plan this.Bill FYI I have no interest in doing an iron but. We are leaving weekend of Jun 6th, I'm expecting the daily mileage to start on the low side (for me) as Diana is laying down the law on the hours per day and this is her first continental trip riding her own bike. If we get there early there is plenty of good riding to keep us occupied.
If you and Pam fancy a trip across the top of Superior then the Dakotas to Beartooth then North from Yellowstone, Glacier and into the Kootenays let us know.
Chris
Except for the bit about over Superior, thats my route. Planning on running the Chief Joseph up to Beartooth, skipping Yellowstone altogether then North to Glacier, this is assuming the passes are open. I've got to stop looking at the trip, just last night I was eyeballing the Badlands and the Black Hills and even Lolo Pass. I'm gonna need a week just to get to Nakusp!. I spent most of last night checking out campgrounds and alternate routes. Its a great way to pass a snowy Northern Ontario evening though. If you and Pam fancy a trip across the top of Superior then the Dakotas to Beartooth then North from Yellowstone, Glacier and into the Kootenays let us know.
