I'm in. It'll be good to see Torch again. I think I was one of those five people...
I'll also spread the word.

Hmmm. Let's see: In 2004 we had Graytaz and wife, Aavmann and wife, Gastdoc and R6 riding wife, Huron52, Spankyaf and Cary_G and his wife.

Edit: Hey, what do you know: pics and reports of the day are still at https://www.fjrowners.ws/discus/messages/18...tml?1087170274#

In 2005 attendance was Colin's dad Pete and BlueFJR with a late appearance by Spankyaf and his ZX6E riding girlfriend. Only one of those people lived in Hamilton. If you have a name that is so Irish the act of pronouncing it turns the tongue green, then yes, I do believe you were one of the five.

However, as I recall, you decided further association with the rest of us was a poor idea after our little roadside conference with the local constabulary. So if you come I promise to be on my best behaviour this time.
Yep, that was me Torch. I still remember you know a thing or two about scraping pegs...

I had to retire to my motel room that afternoon, think I had a touch of heat stroke. Serves me right for wearing my waterproof jacket in 30C temps

Well, with some old friends attending and potential of new ones, I'll have to give this serious consideration. Almosty missed the posting of this. Thanks FastJoyRide for raising the alert.

regards,

GrayTaz

I see that the North Bay Romp is also taking place that same weekend. I always wanted to race in North Bay but never had the oppertunity. Anyone interested in taking a quick ride up there during the FJR rally to have a look at some nice vintage machines? Looks like some nice roads up that way.

Looks like I'm available that weekend and I enjoy a good m/c race. I've been to the vintage races at Mosport. They're serious at racing even when their equipment isn't up to winning. It's all about the ride.

Anyway, that's a sidetrip I'd enjoy.
