Gypsy,

Is there a loose itinerary? How about a tourism link to the town? If we pull in late, just wondering if the sidewalks have been rolled up or if there would be a restaurant still open Thursday night.

Does your CFR have the latest attendance estimate?

Thanks.

Sull

There are several nearby places to eat/drink. There is also a 24 hour restaurant close by. As far as evening entertainment, I'm sure there will be plenty since several of our Upper Canadain friends will be rolling in on Thursday. I believe there will be 3-4 folks finishing up IB runs which should provide some interesting story time.

One more week. :yahoo:

Hi Sull,

Here are some links you can check out.

The hotel restaurant is open until 10:00 PM. There is also a truck stop (Irving Big Stop) open 24/7 about a mile from the hotel. It is on the mainland side of the Canso Causeway. While not somewhere for the hugely health conscious it makes great trucker food!

This is a link to the NS driving trails. Click on the trail logo to get info on that trail.

For anyone who is interested I plan to return to Halifax on Sunday along the Marine Drive. The more the merrier.

For the engineers among us here is information about the Canso Causeway.
