Well, I hate ******* ****** cruiser roadblocks as much as the next guy............BUT.

Passing other bikes in their lane if they haven't waved you past is NOT COOL. It has pissed me off the few times it has happened to me. Unsafe, and RUDE.

So I guess I could understand sort of the lead guy blocking. (Of course if I know someone who is faster than me wants to get past, I wave them by)

IMHO, best is to cross the centerline and pass, like was eventually done.
+1, Gunny! In March of 1963 I pulled my 1959 Triumph 500 Speed Twin over to the side of the road and hit the kill button (magneto ignition only!). Took off my gloves and walked to the centerline and touched it: Son of a *****, that's only fecking paint!!!

If I had a dollar for every centerline I have crossed since then, I would be as rich as Niehart; or maybe even as wealthy as Fairlaner. I never pass another bike in the same lane, even if waved past, I just don't trust the skills of a motorcyclist I don't know!!!

It's just no big deal for me! If I come up on someone, I go by when it's safe to do so! Someone comes up on me, I let them by! No big deal. I don't even give it a second thought. In all the years I've been going the WNC/Tn./Ga. I've never had a problem with anyone regardless what make bike their on. Most will move over. Those who don't, like I said, I go by! If I get stuck behind someone for a couple corners, no big deal! There will be more down the road! I don't own the road and neither do they!
