The Co. that did the work are pro's. I did run a tap thru the rotor holes. I also used a peice of scotchbrite and cleaned the hub were the bearing go. There was no plating were the bearing sit. I did not have any problems replacing the bearing. :D

They look FANTASTIC !...... I would actually take the time to clean mine if they

would look that good !...... :D

they look great and the price is unreal . i had my 1975 kawasaki z1 900 engine and carbs. top and bottoms , drum brake and vance and hines pipe crome out . . the 05 engine is hot enough . but if you have the wheels done might think about the swing arm, shaft drive , engine parts that are visible . how about the number to the cromer

I gotta admit, I would NEVER have thought of chroming the wheels on my new (to me) '04, but after seeing yours, WOW!

It goes GREAT with the overall scheme of things.

Big thumbs-up from RadioHowie.

(not that it matters one whit :) )

I am not into the cleaning that is involved with those wheels.

Chrome requires too much maintenance for me, I prefer to wipe the dust and ride.

It looks great, but not for me.

I'll add my vote for the chrome wheels.  I think that they look great.
Who makes the flush mounted running lights/turn signals on the fairing??
Uhm....that's the way the '04s and '05s come out of the box.

If you have an '03, www.bikeeffects can hook you up.

Absolutely beauty! Goes especially nice with the already exquisite '04 colors. But I'd have to improve my do-it-myself tire changing procedures before I upgrade to this level of bling! My OEM rims don't care much about the occasional scratch at this point at 30K miles, but those babies might. :agent: I can see the kid down at the tire shop sweating bullets as you bring those in...

Still, nicely done! Chicks would dig it.

I am not a chrome guy, especially to be anti-Hardley, but nonetheless, I have to admit, it looks amazing on your bike.

I agree with WC - because your bike is clean and because of the Holeshots, it is all tied together nicely.

Nice work and nice thinking outside the box.

What is that rear carrier, btw? Is it mounted on the stock rack?

Hell yes..., the chrome wheels look ****! They especially look good on the 2004. But I gotta ask, how did the plating stand up when you re-mounted the rubber?

Very nice Smitty! Once again, You amaze me!! I like the look alot! Now you can give skinny Dave some Bling Competion!! B)

It is the mounting plate for my Yamaha trunk..The bag is the sport bag from ventura luggage. It straps on perfectly, its made for there racks. It has velcro mounting strap, and straps to the yami rack.. great for day trips...

Yambone, I have a No-mar tire changer, it uses nylon blocks to hold the wheels. With there changer, no metal touches the wheel.

One of my HD buddies used to say "Chrome won't get you home, but it'll get you laid." Now with chrome parts on the Feejer you'll be going WAY to fast to get laid.

But they look fantastic.

What's that little box in front of your Lic plate?
