I have a clicking or marbles rolling sound when my front sound spins forward. I've never noticed this until the bike was on the stand this evening and I was spinning it while washing it. It doesn't do it if I roll the wheel backwards, just forward. Any ideas? I wouldn't think it's the bearings since it only does it forward and the bike only has 5,300 miles.

1) Don't roll the front tire with the bike on the centerstand.

or

2) Ride the bike backwards.

You're welcome!

Oh boy... good thing it's not Friday!

my best guess is... don't wash the bike again! ever! ;)

actually, was chatting in a thread about a funny clicking noise from the front wheel when rolling it into it's corner of the garage. Happened sometimes when the wheel was full lock one way or the other. No one knew why... it's just weird ;)

But seriously, does it still do it with the brake pads pushed back into the calipers?

(By the way, don't forget to work the brake lever to reseat those before you get on the bike......)

Looks like it was the calipers or something with the antilock. I took it down the street and pulled on the lever a few times and it has gone away. Thanks!!!
