IIRC the report mentioned that he was wounded 14 times in a 54 month stretch. I agree, HERO doesn't even begin to describe him.

Me too! Even more, I would have liked for my two boys to have met him...

Referring to Col Howard as HERO has to be one of the biggest understatements I have ever heard.
