I'm so glad college football is here. I think it's the best sport around. 11 guys on each side of the ball must work in unison and at the same time perfectly execute their position and responsibilities. Only a few seconds determines a regular play from a game-changing play.

Anyone wanna join in predicting the final top 5 this year?

State your prediction for the final top 5 this year as published by the AP Poll after the national championship game.

Points are given as follows:

-- 1 point for each team predicted to be in the top 5 regardless of AP Poll position.

-- 5 points for correctly picking the #1 team, 4 points for #2 team, 3 points for #3 team, 2 points for # 4 team, and 1 point for #5 team.

-- 1 point for Heisman winner.

-- 0.50 point if the Heisman winner will play in the national title game. This is based on your response "yes" or "no", not on your guess for the Heisman winner.

-- 0.50 point for predicting if Michigan (Big Blue) will or will not win at least 7 games including bowl game.

-- 0.50 point for predicting if Notre Dame will or will not win at least 8 games including bowl game.

-- 0.50 point for predicting the Mountain West conference champion.

-- 0.50 point for predicting Pac-10 team with most losses after bowl season.

-- 0.50 point for predicting ACC conference champion.

-- 0.50 point for predicting either Tennessee or Auburn will have a better record after the bowl season. If both teams have the same record then you get the point if your team choice is the winner of the head-to-head matchup.

1) Bama

2) Texas

3) USC

4) Ohio State

5) Florida

Heisman: McCoy - Texas

We are allowed to change our votes until 10pm MST Fri Sept 11th. If you change picks do so by editing your original post. I will copy the posts by saving the webpages so there will an official record.

If we have plenty of participants we will add points for guessing BCS bowl games after the regular bowl season.

C'mon and join! Who will be crowned the inaugural title of the FJR Forum 2009 College Football King/Queen?

I'm not disappointed no one wanted to join. Life is busy and we all have so much other stuff going on. However, this being said, the conclusion is I WIN!!! Yeah!!!

Ok, now I'm going riding....

I wouldn't be surprised if Bama is #1, they have satan for a head coach. :p All I can say is that Lee Corso is the prognosticator of all times, he picked Houston to beat Oklahoma State!
