I have an '04 and I DO think the '05 blue is extremely pretty. I came THIS close to trading in.

'Course now that I just about have my bike farkled the way I want it, I hate to give it up.

Maybe custom paint is in order?

Gotta love that Galaxy Blue!

Maybe I'll trade for next year's Candy Apple Red?

Maybe I should just buy new tupperware?

Oh, and btw, I enjoyed the color perception test, thanks. Pretty startling.

Wow, thats pretty cool, I had to do the swatch a few times to be sure, and I tell ya, Im still not convinced 100% that its not a trick... Maybe 99%...

It wouldn't be that hard to remove the tupperware you have for painting. That would give you the custom color option, also maybe some ghost graphics or something neat like that if you can find a good painter.

When Yam showed the '04 Cerulean Silver on the Web site for the first time, thought "WOW! And I thought the Liquid Silver was good lookin'! This is FAR nicer!"

Then when I saw the full blue on the Web site for the '05s I thought "Yawn...this is gonna make me fall aslee.... :lazy: "

I was maybe thinking the same; that the swatch was changing the color when you moved it over the object. But I actually cut out a little paper swatch and covered the outer colors and damn if the object wasn't the same color as the other one. Pretty impressive in my opinion.

As far as the FJR goes, obviously the cerulean silver is the best. (wonder why I said that) :p

Truely an amazing demonstration of perception.

The swatch and mask really prove the point.

I put a mask over both Silvers and the Blue FJR's. The Blue was still faster! :bleh:

Aren't blue stars the hottest? That may explain the molecules reacting that way as they are blasted off the paint at speed or even standing still on the surface of the earth as it spins at how ever many mph.

Or.....if blue stars are the coolest, that would explain it right there. No further explanation needed. So I am OK either way.... B) B)

The best illustrations I've seen depicting why wearing black and riding a silver motorcycle makes you all but invisible to the cagers.....the only saving grace is the constatntly on headlights. We should take a page from the bicycle community and wear colors that do not naturally occur in nature to increase the conspicuity level!

On long trips I wear my reflective vest, especially at dawn and dusk.

But if I wanted to stand out, I would have purchased a canary yellow suzuki and matching leathers!

And if motorcyclists start wear those tight biker shorts instead of riding pants, I will avoid motorcycle rallys!
