Color swap?

Hey all,

EDIT:CUSTOM PAINT IT IS, THOUGH ITS NOT REALLY GONNA BE TOO CUSTOM!!!!

I am getting bored of my stock 07A color. Farkled it up with all the Silver stripes and all and now I am considering a plastic swap or I may I decide to go with some custom paint.

Don't even think of trading straight across. Everyone knows Black Cherry is the most highly sought after color. I think you're nuts for wanting to trade it away.

I didn't realize that color was something to get bored with when it comes to a bike... especially an FJR... unless it's blue.

I tried this tactic in 06, wanted to trade my Dark blue for Cerulean Silver...........no luck .

Hahaha!! Yes, indeed. The blues are a definite majority... Though, it is a very popular color choice among the metric bikes.

06 Stayed blue, but I miss my 04 Cerulean color !

I've got a cracked right upper in Blue ya can have, won't fit, and it's, ummmmm, cracked, but even taped on it'll give that thing some class finally. And speed.

Little update all,

As I posted... I really like the Black. Even though they are a lot of work to keep clean... My 06 Zx10R was a darky and I loved the look.

I did get one offer to switch, from a non-forum member, but it just didn't work out.... Too much drama for me.

So....

My bike is currently completely naked... I stripped the silver stripes, drained the gas tank, and she goes in for paint

tomorrow.

I like Black... So I am going with a paint match of the 08/09 Raven Black (Thanks to Garauld for the help with the paint info!). Main reason is that if I ever needed replacement plastic.... I could just order it up (without more paint work).

I am keeping my gas tank skirt silver and the rear sub-frame sections silver. I am going to be putting the silver stripes back

on it also (bags and fairing).

So... My bike will be Black with a whole lot of Silver.
