This will be my longest ride to date. Looks to be about 5,000 miles the way I have laid out at this point. We'll shoot up into Canada from Ohio and ride Canadian roads to Gander. The return trip will take us back through New England.

Anyone done this trip? How are the roads in Newfoundland?

The roads are generally very good. I've ridden out to The Rock from the West Coast 4 times so far. Here is a link to 3 of those rides plus the planning pages that we used to share info.

It's not that much further to go to the north end and across to the south coast of Labrador. You may never get another chance - just do it.

Gander isn't a destination, just a place you pass through.

Hey, thanks for the info! Lot of helpful information there.

You're right, Gander isn't the destination. There isn't a destination. I just picked it to estimate the length of the trip.
