Never say never. And Happy Birth Day!!! B)That was an excellent write-up! I'll never get anywhere near that part of the country, so it's nice to see a small glimpse of it. Great birthday present!
Yeah, takes your breath away for sure... guess they don't call it "God's Country" for nuthin! B)I lived in southwest Wyoming for three years and yet never hit the Beartooth Highway, or Chief Joseph Scenic Byway until last summer on the way home from WFO. Breathtaking country up there. A 4th of July Cody, WY parade is now on the bucket list.
Humbling... that's good word for it. I've heard of Manzanar but have not had the chance to visit it yet... need to put that on the list.OK, ya done now Tyler?
EXCELLENT RR!!! That was awesome! This put OM to shame, not that that is very hard.
BTW - I've been to Manzanar Relocation Camp here in Cali on 395. Very nicely done, excellent trip back into that time. Very humbling too.
Thanks so much for such a great ride with you.... And thanks for the food shots.
Thanks, darlin... it's nice to be here to share it with you.Wow.
This RR was so good on so many different levels. One of my all time favorites.
Glad you had a chance to take this trip...it looked awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm gonna read it again tonight when I get a chance.
Danke schoen!!Stunning photos, great narrative, and beautiful landscape. You done awesome!
I heard it snowed there last week so don't know if waiting is going to help ya out with that!Tyler,Thanks for that excellent and inspiring report! I hope to make it up to WY this year before it starts snowing again!
Thanks,
Bob
You absolutely should put it on your list... one of the most spectacular areas ever. B)Great stuff, Tyler. Thanks for posting up, especially the Bear Tooth. I was hoping to hit it this trip but it ain't in the cards. Next time, though...

Hmmmm... now there's an idea! B)dang Tyler...write a book...then make a movie...once independently wealthy, travel one of those every month... :yahoo:
Yup... I think I mentioned the clouds but they were really something else... almost surreal in their intensity, texture, and color against the sky. And I heard that it snowed up there the day I left... I don't think winter ever really ends up there!Wyoming. That state has the most breathtaking sky and it's every day!Of course, I'm smart enough to NOT be there in the Winter.
Beartooth and Chief Joseph Highways are unbelievable and soooo different.
