Keith at Tulsa truck center discounts all autocom products. I just bought my second unit from him for my cruiser, the Active plus for $213, regularly $299. Not bad for the simple unit. I have the Pro 7 for the FJR. He has all the adapters and sell custom molded ear speakers with the lead to hook into them instead of the in helmet speakers. Someone will post his info. He has an FJR and rides all over.
ok, enough about your sex life, what about on the motorcycle. We have a communication system refined over years of marriage and thousands of years of evolution: She yells and screams, I grunt. Works fine.
Ha! I wish! I was talking about on the motorcycle, dammit! Yep, sounds like sex to me... :lol:Hmmm...jacket, boots, gloves and helmet...
Regarding the Collett, I've been using their system for over 5 years and it's given me very good service. Range is in the 1 mile arena, terrain dependent, works as advertised and is waterproof. Rechargable batteries last all day long and are still going after 30K miles. They've been promising a stereo unit for over 2 years, but still no joy. Helmet speakers are fine for communication, but for music they SUCK! Have been using molded in-ear monitors with a Mp3 player for music with the helmet speakers for the Collett which seems to work, but can't easily adjust the music volume on the fly. Still looking for the ultimate system (stereo quality, bluetooth etc..) but until that system exists, the Collett delivers a pretty good bang for the buck.I just purchased the Collett Platinum 900 Sport Touring Package.....$219.00 plus s/h.
