Follow-up from this thread about my accident.
Computrack was finally able to clear their backlog, (height of race season I guess) and get my bike measured. The frame is 6mm short front to back, and there is also a fork twist. This confirms my suspisions that I definetely got hit hard enough to bend the frame. Evidently both the frame and forks are well within the range that can be corrected on their jig. Insurance company will be happy not to write-off the frame and front end and I will have arguably one of the straightest FJR's on the road when they are finished. Still have to have the dealership do all the other work on the previous estimate ($6500), which was pending measurement and correction.
Based on this experience, I would recommend any bike up for insured repair be checked by Computrack. The dealership said the frame was fine, nothing about the forks either. Not to say anything bad about this dealership or any other, but they just don't have the capability to measure a motorcycle, even to a quarter inch.
