I would buy one to replace my Honda Transalp V600. I like the size and weight of the Transalp compared to the "other" dual sports out there other than the KTM. Which stands for "Keeps taking Money". I'll wait and see what comes out from Mama Yama next year.

I would rather see a Tenere 700 with the new 2 cylinder engine. Weight would be lower than the 900 with better gas mileage.

Think of it as an upscale KLR.

I agree with stealth1. The 700 category makes better sense. Especially when you consider the worldwide audience the manufacturers consider.

Twin or triple would make a great machine...just keep it a [relative] lightweight.
