In Canada they are popping up all over the country.

Our local dealer is having a release party next week.

Of course I'm going to look and may be touch but it's a bit like going to a strip joint and getting a lap dance, with your SO (the Feejer in this case) sitting in the parking lot looking in through the window!

What if she offers you a test ride?
Not interested in a 'quickie' and the dealer might be a little PO'd if it came back with 4 or 500 clicks on the clock.

Herfjr: you said the T word :dribble: :assassin: Have an extended warranty and have 43,000 on it with no issues.

Chris

Hey Bug....does Di know your looking @ another woman :derisive: .....(the new Kaw that is)....

There is only one Di and you know that. :D

Oh and she is the one who is due for a new bike, She's finding the Ex500 too small for extended trips.

Bug...I have 43k on my fjr too and all is well. I too am interested in the Kawi. Weight and tank size would be negative comparisons to the fjr though. Also, I wonder what the hp is.....

I'll wait and hear the reviews.

Not sure, but does anyone know Yammies plan down the line for the FJR, say major makeovers? Or are there any? I can't imagine they would just sit back if this Connie takes off and slip down the totem poll.

I'' be in the market for a replacement bike in say 3 yrs or so and cant imagine looking at anything other than another FJR but mmmm, who knows what this Kawi will turn out like.

Anybody know of any "touch" points yet in a tipover on this thing? The "old" Concours used to lose a mirror or a footpeg now and again, when Connie fell over.

I suspect(?) the aftermarket maufacturers are already tooling up.
